Since 1949, the American Theatre Wing has bestowed its Best Musical award to more than 50 Broadway productions. While the COVID-19 pandemic has left us in suspense over who will take the 2020 Best Musical Tony (a rescheduled date for the 2020 Tonys has not been announced as of this writing), the Great Pop Culture Debate wants to look back on the winners from 1949 to 2019 and determine the Best “Best Musical” Tony Winner of all time — and we want YOUR opinions!
