While 2020 has been scary enough, Halloween is on its way in just a few weeks. The Great Pop Culture Debate wants to get into the spooky spirit by doing a special Halloween episode as part of Season 2: Best Movie Monster! From the black-and-white icons of the Universal Pictures era, to the creepy dolls and vengeful spirits of the 21st Century, we’ve created a list of notable movie monsters. Our panelists will debate which is the best — but we want YOUR opinions!

Please fill out the poll below — or find it by clicking this link — and PICK UP TO 32 of your favorite movie monsters. We included monsters from a wide variety of films, and were fairly broad in our interpretation of what makes a “monster.” The main rules are that these character must appear in film (not TV), and they must be scary or at least be designed with the purpose of scaring. Did we miss your favorite? Add it in the field below! We’ll try to add popular options to the survey, and we may discuss your submissions on our Patreon-exclusive Warm-Up for this episode.

The 32 top vote-getters will be discussed on the Great Pop Culture Debate podcast in October 2020. Find out more at greatpopculturedebate.com.
