The Great Pop Culture Debate was thrilled to host a panel at the 2024 edition of Awesome Con, Washington, DC’s Comic-Con! Awesome Con took place from March 8-10, 2024, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC.
For those who attended Awesome Con—which featured an incredible line-up of guests—the event included our session on Friday, March 8, from 1-1:45pm in Room 207A: GPCD Live: Best Super Hero Costume!
Our panelists—including GPCD Host Eric Rezsnyak, GPCD panelist and author Kate Racculia, special guests Brad Gullickson and Lisa Gullickson from the Comic Book Couples Counseling podcast, and Rey from Rage Gear Studios—discussed and debated 16 of the most iconic super-hero costumes in comic-book history. The audience then voted live to determine which costumes advanced, culminating in the selection of the Best Super-Hero Costume ever! It was a highly interactive experience featuring hot takes and low stakes!
