The films of the 1990s were big, bold, and left a lasting impression on audiences and future filmmakers alike. Their soundtracks were no different. After the 1980s saw an explosion in commercially viable movie soundtracks, the 90s upped the ante, stacking major films with exclusive songs from some of the day’s biggest music artists, or carefully curating track lists of future indie darlings. Now, 20+ years later, the Great Pop Culture Debate podcast wants to determine the best 1990s film soundtrack — and we want YOUR opinions!
Below find a list of just about every major 1990s film soundtrack we could think of. (If you’re taking the poll on a mobile device, we recommend clicking this link for ease of use.) For our purposes, these were American film releases. Pick your favorites — you can select as many as you like. The most popular picks will be added to a bracket for our panelists to debate in the episode.
