Over its five-decade history — and multiple generations of gaming systems — Nintendo has been home to some of the most notable bad guys in video-game history. Now the Great Pop Culture Debate wants to determine the best Best Nintendo Villain of all time, and we want YOUR opinions!
For our purposes, we considered only main protagonists, or particularly memorable sub-antagonists. We included villains from not only Nintendo-owned properties, but also properties that released games on a Nintendo system. We included antagonists from the Top 50 best-selling games from each generation of Nintendo platform. We stuck to singular villains (with a few notable exceptions), and while we listed only their first major appearance, you should consider their full body of work when casting your vote.
